Loar holds on to win Panama Claro Championship

Current PGA TOUR rookie Edward Loar took advantage of not getting into The Honda Classic by holding on to win the Panama Claro Championship.  From a distance, the final round in Panama looked on the leaderboard like a replay of Royal St. George's.

Some final round notes:
  • The final round played a little over two shots over par with a scoring average of 72.286.
  • The final paring of Loar and Justin Hicks played a combined 9-over-par in the final round.
  • Ryan Armour bogeyed the 14th and 18th to miss a playoff by one shot.

The Nationwide Tour moves to Chile for the inaugural Chile Classic Presented by Pacific Rubailes.  We will have a preview later in the week.
